come home to yourself and your body.

Inclusive, trauma-informed therapy for eating disorders.
In-person sessions in DC; virtual in DC, MD, and VA.

Go from feeling trapped in a constant battle with food, your body, and the mirror, spiraling into harsh self-talk every time you see your reflection—wondering, “Will I ever feel okay in my own skin?” …

… to reclaiming your brain space, your peace, and discovering who you are beyond the diet rules and cycles of shame (because life’s too short to keep living like this) …

… with therapy that honors you as you are. This isn’t about “fixing” you or making you fit a mold—it’s about building self-compassion, resilience, and a life that feels truly yours.

Why spend another day …

→ Exhausted by the mental gymnastics of tracking every bite and feeling at war with your own body?

→ Stuck in the cycle, wondering, “Why do I keep doing this?” Each time you swear it’s the last, until the cycle repeats. Again.

→ Worn down by a world that constantly comments on your right to exist comfortably in your body?

→ Grappling with the shame from a childhood or faith-based environment that left you at odds with your body?

→ Disheartened by providers who make triggering comments on food and weight without really getting it?

A few of the insights we’ll explore in our sessions …

  • → The binge-restrict cycle isn’t random; it’s your body’s protective response to dieting.

  • → Consistent, satisfying meals are the most effective prevention for disordered eating—yes, even binging.

  • → The myth that larger bodies can’t be smart, successful, or loved? It’s a lie.

  • → Think you want tips and tricks? Truth is, they don’t bring lasting results.

  • → Turning toward unpleasant feelings can bring faster relief than running from them.

  • → Every part of you is trying to help—even when it doesn’t feel that way.

  • → What did you need from a caring adult growing up, and can you give that to yourself now?

  • → Keeping trigger foods out of the house won’t help; getting used to them will.

  • → Your body CAN be a safe place—no matter what society says or how it tries to marginalize you.

  • → Anti-fatness is the problem, not your body.

  • → You can’t control every thought or feeling, but you can control your actions.

  • → Shame doesn’t create change—self-compassion does.

  • → The ways you’re coping make sense, even if they aren’t sustainable long-term.

  • → Disordered eating and body image issues aren’t about vanity—they’re about trying to feel safe.

  • → Christian background? I get how some faith-based teachings can complicate body image.

  • → Dive into your inner world with IFS, stay true to your values with ACT, and get social-system aware with RCT.
